Senior state official killed among five in western India plane crash  A private plane carrying a senior state official crashed in western India on Wednesday, killing all five people on board after the aircraft attempted to land and burst into flames near the runway. The Learjet 45 was traveling from Mumbai to the city of Baramati when it came down in an open field close to the airstrip, about 159 miles southeast of the financial capital. Television footage from the scene showed thick smoke rising from the charred wreckage as emergency crews responded. Authorities said poor visibility may have played a role, and an investigation has been launched by India’s Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau to determine the exact cause. Officials said Baramati operates as an uncontrolled airfield, meaning it does not have a dedicated air traffic control tower.       An automobile mechanic who works in Enugu has totally transformed an old and abandoned 1975 Peugeot 504 car to a posh luxury semi sports car.
It was gathered that the Anambra-born mechanic known as Ejike Francis is very ingenious for his ability to "pimp" vehicles whereby giving them a total makeover.
It was said that the car is now the talk of the town and a head-turner in Enugu.More photos below.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
