 LAGOS RE-INTRODUCES MONTHLY ENVIRONMENTAL SANITATION EXERCISE …Governor, Deputy lead State officials to clean up Mushin corridor Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Saturday, announced the re-introduction of the Monthly Environmental Sanitation in the State. The Governor said the exercise will hold every last Saturday of the Month between the hours of 6:30am and 8:30am but without movement restrictions. He stressed that the exercise would be monitored by State officials with appropriate sanctions to be meted out to erring neighbourhoods and markets. Sanwo-Olu made the pronouncement during a ceremony held in Olosa Bus Stop in Mushin which marked the symbolic flag-off of the monthly sanitation. The Governor, who led his Deputy, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat, and member of the State cabinet on the mission, said the culture of environmental responsibility must be imbibed by the residents across all communities in the state and reflect same in their lifestyle. HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES COMMITTEE ON ARMY VISITS 82 DIVISION NIGERIAN ARMY.#PRESS RELEASE.{PHOTOS}.

         The House of Representatives Sub Committee on army has visited the 82 Division Nigerian Army, today Thursday the 11th January 2018.
The honourable members were on oversight function to assess 2017 Nigerian Army capital projects in the Division's Area of Responsibility.
In this light, the first point of call was the Headquarters of the Division, Abakpa Military Cantonment Enugu, where the members were conducted round major infrastructural projects including soldiers' living accommodation constructed or renovated by the Nigerian Army in Abakpa Cantonment Enugu.
While going round the One Million Litres of water per day urban water treatment plant in the cantonment, the leader of the team, Honourable Musa Ado Tsamiya, commended the Chief of Army Staff Lieutenant General Tukur Yusufu Buratai and the General Officer Commanding 82 Division Major General Adamu Baba Abubakar for the renovation works and the construction of the water plant which are easing the accommodation and water needs of the barracks and its neighbouring communities of Abakpa Nike, New Haven and Otiba.
