 Russia launches massive drone and missile barrage on Ukraine, killing at least 18 civilians and striking Kyiv and multiple cities  Russia carried out a large-scale overnight assault on Ukraine, launching hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles that killed at least 18 civilians and wounded more than 100 others across multiple cities, officials said Tuesday. The strikes hit Kyiv, Dnipro and other regions, with emergency crews working through destroyed residential buildings where some victims were trapped under rubble. In Dnipro, rescuers recovered the bodies of a 3-year-old child and a mother and her 8-year-old son, while officials reported 12 deaths in the city and six in Kyiv. The bombardment stretched from night into daylight, with explosions reported across wide areas of the country. HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES COMMITTEE ON ARMY VISITS 82 DIVISION NIGERIAN ARMY.#PRESS RELEASE.{PHOTOS}.

         The House of Representatives Sub Committee on army has visited the 82 Division Nigerian Army, today Thursday the 11th January 2018.
The honourable members were on oversight function to assess 2017 Nigerian Army capital projects in the Division's Area of Responsibility.
In this light, the first point of call was the Headquarters of the Division, Abakpa Military Cantonment Enugu, where the members were conducted round major infrastructural projects including soldiers' living accommodation constructed or renovated by the Nigerian Army in Abakpa Cantonment Enugu.
While going round the One Million Litres of water per day urban water treatment plant in the cantonment, the leader of the team, Honourable Musa Ado Tsamiya, commended the Chief of Army Staff Lieutenant General Tukur Yusufu Buratai and the General Officer Commanding 82 Division Major General Adamu Baba Abubakar for the renovation works and the construction of the water plant which are easing the accommodation and water needs of the barracks and its neighbouring communities of Abakpa Nike, New Haven and Otiba.
