 Dutch referee Rob Dieperink dies weeks after removal from World Cup officiating list Dutch referee Rob Dieperink has died at the age of 38, weeks after FIFA removed him from its list of officials for the World Cup. The Dutch Football Association (KNVB) confirmed his death in a statement, saying it was “shocked and deeply saddened” by the news. His cause of death has not been disclosed. Dieperink was arrested in April by the Metropolitan Police in the United Kingdom following a report of an alleged sexual assault involving a teenage boy in London. A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said officers responded on April 9 to a report of sexual assault at an address in Croydon and arrested a man in his 30s on suspicion of the offence. Police later said that after reviewing available evidence, including CCTV footage and digital devices, the investigation had concluded that “the evidential threshold had not been met” and no further action would be taken. MAJOR GENERAL MUSA SANI YUSUF ASSUMES COMMAND AS THE NEW GENERAL OFFICER COMMANDING 6 DIVISION NIGERIAN ARMY.{PHOTOS}.#PRESS RELEASE.


     1. The newly appointed General Officer Commanding (GOC) 6 Division Nigerian Army Major General Musa Sani Yusuf has assumed command of the Division today 23 January 2018. He took over from Major General Enobong Okon Udoh who has been redeployed as the General Officer Commanding 81 Division.
2. Major General Yusuf is a member of the 37 Regular Course of the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA), a seasoned and professional Infantry Officer. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry from NDA, Masters in Transport Management from LAUTECH, Masters of Science in Strategic Studies from University of Ibadan, a Diploma in Peace Keeping and Shipping Logistics and a Diploma in Higher Level Defence Management from Indore University, India. General Yusuf has attended all his mandatory military Courses among which include Young Officers’ Course Infantry, Airborne Course, Company Commanders’ Course (Infantry), Junior and Senior Courses in Armed Forces Command Staff College in Jaji and India respectively as well as National Defence College among others. He has served in several Nigerian Army Units and Formations where he held appointments commensurate to his rank. He has both local and foreign operational experiences including those under the auspices of ECOMOG and the United Nations.
3. Before his current appointment as GOC 6 Division Nigerian Army, he was the Commander of the elite Guards Brigade Nigerian Army.
