 Single Mother Arrested for Allegedly Killing Twin Sister and Daughter in Enugu A horrific incident has shaken the community of Umuidenyi, Aji, Enugu Ezike, Igbo Eze North Local Government Area, Enugu State, after a single mother, Oluchukwu Odo, was taken into custody for allegedly killing her twin sister and daughter. According to eyewitnesses, the tragic event occurred in the early hours of Wednesday at the family's home. Although details leading up to the incident are still unclear, family sources revealed that Oluchukwu's twin sister had visited their parents' home with her daughter when the incident occurred. A neighbor, who wished to remain anonymous, recounted the chilling events: "I heard the woman screaming and running towards my door.       President Muhammadu Buhari has commiserated with Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State over the reported killings, injury of several persons and wanton destruction of property in Guma and Logo Local Government Areas of the state in the New Year.
While expressing immense sadness at the “wicked and callous” attacks on even innocent children, the President assured the governor and people of the state that relevant security agencies have been directed to do everything possible to arrest those behind the regrettable incidents and avert further attacks.
“This is one attack too many, and everything must be done to provide security for the people in our rural communities,” he said.President Buhari also commiserated with families of the victims and wished the injured speedy healing.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
