 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary.      President Muhammadu Buhari received President Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea, at the State House.
At a press conference, following bilateral talks between the two countries, President Obiang said: "I’m glad to be here in Nigeria. I’m also glad to see President Buhari is back in good health".
He continued: "I congratulate President Muhammau Buhari for the great job he has done in the fight against Boko Haram, which has been wreaking havoc all across the subregion."We have to work together to ensure the maintenance of security in the subregion. Instability anywhere will have implications everywhere. We also have to work together for the welfare and development of our countries and people.".More photos below.
