  Imo Governor Issues 72-Hour Ultimatum to Remove Tints from Commercial Vehicles Imo State Governor Hope Uzodinma has given commercial drivers operating vehicles with tinted glasses a 72-hour ultimatum to remove them or face severe legal consequences, according to a press release issued by his Chief Press Secretary and Special Adviser on Media, Oguwike Nwachukwu. The directive, announced on Wednesday, aims to curb the rising use of tinted commercial vehicles, particularly buses, in criminal activities such as kidnapping, armed robbery, and hit-and-run incidents across the state. Nwachukwu stated that intelligence reports linked these vehicles to the surge in such crimes, prompting the governor’s order. NIGERIAN ARMY ARRESTED A MAN WITH ARMS & AMMUNITIONS DURING A STOP & SEARCH YESTERDAY AT MARABA.{PHOTOS}

        Troops of Guards Brigade Nigerian Army, deployed at Mararaba, Nasarawa state for Internal Security Operations have arrested a man with arms and ammunitions during a stop and search operation at the checkpoint on Thursday 8th February 2018.
The Suspect who gave his name as Mr Peter Iorlaha was apprehended with a bag containing 2 Locally made pistols, 1 locally made short gun, 2 rounds of 7.62mm (Special), 5 live cartridges, 2 torch lights, a screw driver, charms and a Tecno mobile handset.
During preliminary investigation, the suspect revealed that the weapons and other items were handed over to him by his uncle for safe keeping. The suspect is currently under interrogation.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
