 Thugs Break Into Mortuary in Nzhelele, allegedly stole equipment An elderly security guard was brutally attacked during a break-in at Luvhani Mortuary in Nzhelele, Limpopo, on Friday. According to reports, unknown suspects assaulted the guard with a pick handle and an axe. He sustained serious injuries to his head and legs and was rushed to the nearest hospital for medical treatment. The suspects allegedly stole equipment from the mortuary before fleeing the scene. Police have opened a case and are appealing to the public for any information that could help identify and arrest the suspects.

        A young man identified as Ifeanyi Oguejiofor has reportedly killed his father with a knife and stabbed his mother in Abatete community in Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra State.
The incident occurred yesterday Saturday.He was arrested by the Abatete vigilante group in the area and handed over to the police.However, his mother simply identified as Josephine, who survived the attack narrated that suspect killed his father after demanding money from them.She explained that their inability to give him the money he requested for resulted in the sad event that claimed her husband’s life.Anambra police command has apprehended Ogueofor, 27, who is a commercial motorcyclist and begun an investigation into the matter.More details later.More photos below.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
