 Over 25 million phones stolen in one year – FG The Crime Experience and Security Perception Survey report of the National Bureau of Statistics, a Federal Government agency, shows that Nigeria recorded 25.35 million phone theft cases between May 2023 and April 2024. According to the report, this was the most common type of crime within the period under review. The report read, “The number of crimes experienced by individuals in Nigeria was analysed over a period of time. The results show that theft of phones (25,354,417) was the most common crime experienced by individuals, followed by consumer fraud (12,107,210) and assault (8,453,258). However, hijacking of cars (333,349) was the least crime experienced by individuals within the reference period.” It also noted that most phone theft cases occurred either at home or in a public place, and about 90 per cent of such cases were reported to the police.      Saturday evening March 17th, Beyoncé and Blue Ivy attended the 2nd Annual Wearable Art Gala at Alexandria Ballrooms in Los Angeles, in matching dresses. The evening's theme was "From WACO to Wakanda" and everyone's outfits reflected the immense influence Black Panther has had on the world already.Beyoncé was honored for her humitarian work at the Gala, alongside her mother in-law Gloria Carter. The event was hosted by her mom, Tina Knowles Lawson, and step-dad, Richard Lawson, and it was a supremely star-studded affair. Beyoncé was accompanied by her daughter, and husband Jay Z, plus her sister Solange was also there.As usual, Blue Ivy stole the show in a stunning gold ensemble, which included a completely gold wig:And you just have to see the train on Beyoncé's gown when she walks away, and the number of people carrying said train. It is epic to say the least:Later on in the night, Beyoncé underwent a costume change, while Blue Ivy remained completely golden, because why ruin a good thing?.And Beyoncé was presented her award in an emotional speech by a mother whose daughter is inspired by the singer's success, and who has immensely benefited from the support of the Waco Theater Center:Accepting the award, Beyoncé tried not to cry as she revealed, "I feel really full, and just, so blessed and so very fortunate...
