 Colombian singer-songwriter Yeison Jiménez died Saturday, January 10, in a plane crash near Paipa, in the state of Boyacá in Colombia.  He was 34. The crash claimed the lives of six people, including Jiménez and his manager, Jefferson Osorio. The charter aircraft took off from Juan José Rondón Airport but was unable to gain altitude and crashed in a field near the runway, where it was destroyed by fire. The artist had just performed in Boyacá and was flying to Medellín for another scheduled performance that evening. At only 34 years old, Jiménez had become one of the biggest names in Colombian popular music, or "música popular," a genre that blends traditional Mexican ranchera music with Colombian roots. ROAD INFRASTRUCTURE: GOV AMOSUN COMMITTED TO MASSIVE STATEWIDE CONSTRUCTION.{PHOTOS}.

      With barely one year to the end of his administration, Governor Ibikunle Amosun has reassured residents of Ogun State of his resolve to complete all ongoing projects across the state.
He gave the assurance when he led his team to inspect the ongoing reconstruction of the Sagamu-Ogijo 22 km road into a six-laner.
Also inspected on Tuesday, was the Ijebu-Igbo flyover, which is over 90 percent completed and its link road.
Other road projects , which are scheduled to receive government attention, include, the Ilishan-Ago Iwoye road, Ikangba-Ilese-Itele road, all in Ijebu-Ode, Ogun East Senatorial District.
In Ogun West, the Governor said Ilogbo road and Ilaro-Owode road, with an underpass, will be completed in record time.
Also, according to him, Igbesa and Atan-Agbara road will be a Public Private Partnership (PPP) arrangement.More photos below.
