 Russia launches massive drone and missile barrage on Ukraine, killing at least 18 civilians and striking Kyiv and multiple cities  Russia carried out a large-scale overnight assault on Ukraine, launching hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles that killed at least 18 civilians and wounded more than 100 others across multiple cities, officials said Tuesday. The strikes hit Kyiv, Dnipro and other regions, with emergency crews working through destroyed residential buildings where some victims were trapped under rubble. In Dnipro, rescuers recovered the bodies of a 3-year-old child and a mother and her 8-year-old son, while officials reported 12 deaths in the city and six in Kyiv. The bombardment stretched from night into daylight, with explosions reported across wide areas of the country. 1 SOLDIER LOST HIS LIFE AS TROOPS REPEL BOKO HARAM ATTACK IN BORNO TODAY.

      1. Troops of 3 Battalion on operation LAFIYA DOLE have successfully repelled Boko Haram terrorists attack at Ngamboru Ngala, Borno state.
2. One Boko Haram terrorist was neutralized during the encounter while other members of the group fled following a superior fire power from the troops.
3. Unfortunately, one soldier lost his life during the attack.
4. Items recovered include:
a. One Rocket Propelled Gun 7 tube.
b. One Anti Aircraft Gun.
c. 2 AK 47 Rifles.
d. 2 Empty Magazines.
5. The public is hereby reminded to always cooperate with the troops by providing useful and timely information.
