 MODEL COLLEGES/UPGRADED JUNIOR SECONDARY SCHOOLS COMMENCE E-REGISTRATION FOR YEAR 2025 ENTRANCE EXAMINATION The Lagos State Government has commenced Year 2025 e-Registraton Entrance Examination (Screening Test) for primary 6 pupils transiting to junior secondary schools into its Model Colleges and Upgraded Junior Secondary Schools.  The Director, Lagos State Examinations Board, Mr. Adebayo Orunsolu confirmed that the e-Registration will commence on Thursday 6th February and ends on Friday, 16th May, 2025, adding that the Screening will be conducted through Computer Based Test (CBT) only between Wednesday, 28th May and Friday, 30th May, 2025, at the various CBT designated centres across the State. Mr. Orunsolu stressed that qualified pupils from public and private Schools are to pay a sum of #10,000 (Ten Thousand Naira Only) for the Application. ARMY NABS FOUR BOKO HARAM SUSPECTS IN YOBE STATE.{PHOTOS}#PRESS RELEASE.

   1. Troops of 233 Battalion deployed in operation LAFIYA DOLE on 27 April 2018 while on raid operation to Mingel and Damagun in Fune Local Government Area of Yobe state nabbed four Boko Haram terrorists with their collaborator.
2. The suspects who are all from Borno State include:
a. Chari Masaa - 40years
b. Gonbuzu Abar - 30years
c. Modu Moduchollo - 20 years
d. Titta Masawa - 20 years
e. While their collaborator is Gambo Idrisa - 30 years.
3. Items recovered include:
a. Four Techno phones.
b. A cash of N150,000.00 only.
4. Similarly, troops of Forward Operation Base, Potiskum on 26 April 2018 while on routine patrol arrested a suspected Boko Haram terrorist, Mr Sailsu Musa - 30 years of Sabon Gari Duddaye village in Nangere Local Government Area. .
5. The general public is hereby advised to report any suspicious movements to the security agents for necessary action.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
