 LAWMA Waste, Investigation, Surveillance and Enforcement operatives on night duty have apprehended two environmental offenders along the Jibowu and Ojota corridors of Ikorodu Road for engaging in illegal waste collection and indiscriminate disposal of refuse at unauthorized locations. The suspects, were arrested during routine surveillance operations after being found carrying out activities that constitute environmental nuisance and undermine approved waste management processes, despite repeated warnings and sensitization efforts. The offenders are being transferred to the Oshodi Task Force Office for prosecution through the Mobile Court in accordance with the environmental protection laws of Lagos State. LAWMA reiterates that illegal waste collection and indiscriminate dumping remain punishable offences. The General Overseer of Omega Power Ministries OPM Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere has presented a two flat bungalow (one bedroom flat and two bedroom flat) to Precious Ndubuisi, the best graduating student of its free primary school in Port Harcourt. The General Overseer of OPM Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere(m) posing with the Ndubuisi family after handing over to them the documents of the house. Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere while presenting the house to the family of Precious Ndubisi stated that the house gift was one his gesture to improve the quality of education in OPM school.
