 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary.        Yesterday The Prince of Wales visited Vanuatu to see the work that has been done since natural disaster Cyclone Pam wreaked devastation on the island.The Prince was greeted by the President of Vanuatu before receiving a salusalu welcome garland.
His Royal Highness was able to meet so many of the island’s residents during his time there with visits including Port Vila Central Hospital and a local handicraft market.
Before departing Vanuatu, The Prince of Wales visited a chief’s nakamal and received a chief title - Mal Menaringmanu - in a traditional ceremony.The Prince planted a “namale fern” to mark the occasion and drank a special “kava” known as the Royal Kava, which is reserved for special occasions and was only last consumed during a visit by The Duke of Edinburgh in 1974.More photos below.
