 BAUCHI STATE POLICE COMMAND PRESS RELEASE    05 APRIL, 2025   The editors, CP Sani-Omolori appealed for calm as he directed the State Intelligence Department(SID) to initiate a thorough and discreet investigation into the  Dutsen-Tanshi incident. On April 4, 2024, at about 14:45, a concerned citizen reported an incident involving Ahmad Isa Jaja, the Chief Imam of Galli Mosque in the Jahun area of Bauchi Metropolis. During his Friday sermon, the Imam made inappropriate remarks towards the late Malam Idris Abdulazeez Dutsen-Tanshi. This statement incited unrest among the followers of the late Malam Idris, who subsequently gathered at the mosque to express their discontent. In response to the situation, the Commissioner of Police Bauchi State Police Command, CP Sani-Omolori Aliyu, Psc(+) Mni, promptly deployed a team of tactical Units led by the Divisional Police Officer(DPO) Dutsen-Tanshi to the location.     One of my reporter Chinenye Genevieve sent in this photos with the caption ''Larry Shola points out why witchcraft will not end in Africa! .He posted this on his facebook wall:-"I went out with a friend to celebrate his birthday today and it was fun but something strange happened a woman came in with 3 kids for dinner and she orders for 2 plate of rice and chicken to my greatest surprise one of the kid was left out and was given biscuit to eat by the woman in the presence of the 2 kids while they were eating the rice the little kid was holding his/herself to eat the biscuit and it was such a painful thing to see honestly African women are mostly Evil how much will it cost you to give to someone who probably takes care of this little ones when you are not at home its so painful and annoying no wonder witchcraft will not end in Africa I'm really saddened honesty....".One more photo below.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
