SANWO-OLU IN LONDON SEEKS FOREIGN INVESTMENTS, PARTNERSHIPS   •Governor charges Commonwealth states to bring capital, technology, expertise to Lagos The Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Monday charged the Commonwealth’s 56 member states to invest in Africa, particularly Lagos, by bringing their capital, technology and other expertise, promising that they will find not just market and opportunity but partner and relationship.   He said the Commonwealth's greatest advantage is not simply its shared language, shared laws or shared history but its people, noting that nowhere is that advantage more vivid, dynamic or consequential than in Africa.   Speaking as a Keynote Speaker at the opening ceremony of the Commonwealth Trade and Investment Summit held at Mansion House, London, on Monday, Governor Sanwo-Olu said Lagos is ready for partnerships and relationships with global investors.   The theme of the opening session is “The Commonwealth's Advantage". ...

      Today sunday five cultist were killed in Awka.According Chukwunenye Nweke who is reporting today that ''Bloody Sunday And Unprecedented Killings In Awka: FIVE CONFIRMED DEAD WHILE SEVERAL OTHERS UNVERIFIABLE.The violent exhibitions by suspected cultists in the morning hours between 10am to 11:45am today, along Agulu Awka- Ezioka axis,made the the entire region and Awka to look like Iraq,Syria, Adamawa State, where terrorists are seen brandishing guns and shooting on The violent exhibitions by suspected cultists in the morning hours between 10am to 11:45am today.This is so because,youths, suspected to be cultists stormed the said axis, with a red Toyota car and bus,firing on the air,installing panic among locals and passers by.Further probe into the violent activities in Awka today,revealed that,five persons suspected to be members of one dreaded group or the other,were gunned down. The gory injuries melted to the deceased people were terrible''.Earlier today I reported that a cultist was killed yesterday in Nkwelle.He was killed with seven others.One more photo below.
