In a blog post that has now been published by many international media organisations, in an apparent well-coordinated public relations effort, Binance Chief Executive Officer Richard Teng made false allegations of bribery against unidentified Nigerian government officials who he claimed demanded $150m in cryptocurrency payments to resolve the ongoing criminal investigation against the company.  This claim by Binance CEO lacks any iota of substance. It is nothing but a diversionary tactic and an attempted act of blackmail by a company desperate to obfuscate the grievous criminal charges it is facing in Nigeria. Abuja-based businessman beaten to death in Enugu.
      According to sources, who just sent in this photos with the caption ''An Abuja-based businessman, Chinedu Nzegwu, has been beaten to death by unknown evil men in Enugu State.
This was made known by his friends, colleagues and former schoolmates who took to their Facebook accounts to mourn his untimely death.Chinedu, who lives in Abuja until his death, is a former student of Dennis Memorial Grammar School DMGS, Onitsha, Anambra State and a graduate of the University of Port-Harcourt.He was reportedly attacked by yet-to-be-identified people who left him for death after hitting him with a big stick on the head.It was gathered that the sad incident happened few days before his planned return to Abuja.Meanwhile, reason for his killing is not yet known''.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
