 Russia launches massive drone and missile barrage on Ukraine, killing at least 18 civilians and striking Kyiv and multiple cities  Russia carried out a large-scale overnight assault on Ukraine, launching hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles that killed at least 18 civilians and wounded more than 100 others across multiple cities, officials said Tuesday. The strikes hit Kyiv, Dnipro and other regions, with emergency crews working through destroyed residential buildings where some victims were trapped under rubble. In Dnipro, rescuers recovered the bodies of a 3-year-old child and a mother and her 8-year-old son, while officials reported 12 deaths in the city and six in Kyiv. The bombardment stretched from night into daylight, with explosions reported across wide areas of the country. NIGERIAN ARMY NEUTRALISES ARMED BANDITS IN ADAMAWA, RECOVER WEAPONS.{PHOTOS}#PRESS RELEASE.

      1. Troops conducting clearance operation in Numan general area of Adamawa State has neutralized 10 armed bandits following an encounter.
2. The ten bandits were neutralised during an operation which lasted for one hour.
3 Items recovered include:
a. 18 motorcycles.
b. Two Dane guns.
c. One Sub Machine Gun.
d. One double barrel.
e. Four cartridges.
f. Thirteen rounds of 7.62mm ammunition NATO special.
g. One cutlass.
4. Also, one of the bandits, Adamu Umar was captured during the operation.
5. Preliminary investigation is ongoing meanwhile, the suspect and the remains of the 10 bandits neutralized have been handed over to the Nigeria Police.
6. The general public is hereby advised once again to always report any suspicious activities to the law enforcement agents from prompt action.
