  Tragedy Strikes As Promising Councillor Hon. Chukwuma Okpalauzuegbu Is Laid To Rest On Intended wedding Day  By Charity Ejiofor  A day that was meant to mark a joyful union has instead become one of deep sorrow for family, friends, and the Aguata community, following the sudden passing of Hon. Chukwuma Christopher Okpalauzuegbu, the councillor representating Amesi Ward. Hon. Okpalauzuegbu fondly known as Chuma, had been preparing to celebrate his wedding ceremony, an event filled with hope, promise and carefully laid plans. Loved ones, and sponsors, ready to stand beside him as he embark on a new chapter of life. In an unexpected and heart breaking turn of events, those dreams were cut short. NIGERIAN ARMY REPELS ATTACK, NEUTRALIZE BOKO HARAM AT GASHIGAR.#PRESS RELEASE.

      1. Troops of operation LAFIYA DOLE on clearance operation at Gashigar repelled an attack and neutralized 6 Boko Haram terrorists.
2. Some of the terrorists were also wounded during the encounter.
3. Items recovered include
a. 1 Anti aircraft Gun.
b. 4 AK47 rifles.
c. 6 AK47 Magazines.
d. 2 Mortar Bombs.
e. 2 Gun Trucks.
4. Unfortunately, two soldiers were wounded during the operation.
5. Similarly, troops successfully cleared Gambori, Dumbawa, Damsu, Awardi, Kanaram, Laridi, Malumdi and Yuramdi villages.
6. Items recovered include;
a. One Refrigerator.
b. One 14inch TV.
c. two DVDs.
d. A box filled with drugs.
7. Efforts are on to arrest fleeing other members of the terrorists group.
