Refreshing your memory, Baba Ijesha was arrested and sentenced to 5 years imprisonment for raping a minor, who is the adopted daughter of comedian Princess. Giving an update on the case in a recent interview, he said Baba Ijesha’s appeal process is still ongoing in court. He claimed that there was no evidence that he slept with the hole; hence, the judge didn’t sentence him to life imprisonment. Yomi stated that Princess called Baba Ijesha to shoot a skit, and the girl also made a similar statement in court.      Today The Queen, accompanied by The Duke of York and The Countess of Wessex, hosted the first of the annual Buckingham Palace Garden Parties.
Her Majesty and Their Royal Highnesses met and chatted to a number of today's 8,000 guests, who are invited from all walks of life. Garden Parties have been held at Buckingham Palace since the 1860s and are a way of recognising and rewarding public service.Usually Almost 30,000 people are invited to Garden Parties.
The Queen, The Duke of York and The Earl and Countess of Wessex arrive on the West Terrace for the National Anthem, which today was played by the Band of the Irish Guards.Yeoman of the Guard act as Royal Bodyguard to the Sovereign at Garden Parties.
The Yeoman were created in 1485 by King Henry VII & are the oldest Military Corps still existing in the UK.More photos below.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up. Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
