 Russia launches massive drone and missile barrage on Ukraine, killing at least 18 civilians and striking Kyiv and multiple cities  Russia carried out a large-scale overnight assault on Ukraine, launching hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles that killed at least 18 civilians and wounded more than 100 others across multiple cities, officials said Tuesday. The strikes hit Kyiv, Dnipro and other regions, with emergency crews working through destroyed residential buildings where some victims were trapped under rubble. In Dnipro, rescuers recovered the bodies of a 3-year-old child and a mother and her 8-year-old son, while officials reported 12 deaths in the city and six in Kyiv. The bombardment stretched from night into daylight, with explosions reported across wide areas of the country.      It was reported some days ago how a food seller was left heartbroken after being accused of water from mortuary to cook food at the Federal Polytechnic Oko in Anambra state.
It was gathered that the rumor was circulated in order to tarnish the woman's image.
Fresh reports has it that a philanthropist based in Austria has decided to help the woman popularly known as Nwanyi Nanka.
The philanthropist, Nweke Solomon Chukwudi from Nkanu LG in Enugu State but based in Austria, reached out immediately and contacted Comr. Victor Chinonso the journalist who reported the incident as he donated cash and a bag of rice to the woman.According to Victor, the rumors has further strengthened the resolve of the food seller as she has started cooking four (4) coolers of rice in other to effectively serve all her customers against the three she cooked before.More photos below.
