 Kwara Govt donates 150 off-road motorcycles to Nigerian Army •LGAs acquire 320 motorcycles to boost vigilantes' security operations  In a bid to further strengthen security operations and maintain peace across Kwara State, His Excellency Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq-led Kwara State Government has donated 150 off-road motorcycles to the Nigerian Army. The motorcycles are expected to enhance troops' mobility and effectiveness, particularly in rugged terrains such as forests, where non-state actors may be hiding with intent to destabilise the peaceful atmosphere of the state. This strategic intervention follows recent reports of the disturbances of non-state actors in parts of Kwara South and Kwara North.  In response, on Monday, April 21, 2025, Governor AbdulRazaq led a high-powered joint security delegation on an operational assessment tour to the Kaiama Local Government Area in Kwara North.      I was up all night watching the red carpet moment on E! as the MET Gala which annually hold every first monday in May was held yesterday at the New York's Metropolitan Museum Art United State and the theme for the event was ''Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic imagination''.If you ask me Katy Perry,Bella Hadid,Rihanna,Blake Lively and Sarah Jessica Parker to me understood what the theme was all about.It is very important to stick to the theme and behind Bella Hadid black leather dress there is a large cross on her back that styling alone made my jaw to drop,Below are the stars who wore Versace to the event yesterday and other outfit made by other designers.More photos below.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up. The Appellant is an actor. He acted in a script that he was invited to act by his colleague (PW1), Damilola Adekoya,” he said.
