 MODEL COLLEGES/UPGRADED JUNIOR SECONDARY SCHOOLS COMMENCE E-REGISTRATION FOR YEAR 2025 ENTRANCE EXAMINATION The Lagos State Government has commenced Year 2025 e-Registraton Entrance Examination (Screening Test) for primary 6 pupils transiting to junior secondary schools into its Model Colleges and Upgraded Junior Secondary Schools.  The Director, Lagos State Examinations Board, Mr. Adebayo Orunsolu confirmed that the e-Registration will commence on Thursday 6th February and ends on Friday, 16th May, 2025, adding that the Screening will be conducted through Computer Based Test (CBT) only between Wednesday, 28th May and Friday, 30th May, 2025, at the various CBT designated centres across the State. Mr. Orunsolu stressed that qualified pupils from public and private Schools are to pay a sum of #10,000 (Ten Thousand Naira Only) for the Application. ARMY ARRESTS SUSPECTED INFORMANTS TO BANDITS IN ZAMFARA STATE.[PHOTOS].#PRESS RELEASE.

    1. Troops deployed at Magam town on 25 June 2018 arrested three suspected informants in Gobirawa Fulani village following a tip off.
2. The suspects are alleged to be responsible for giving information to bandits before they carry out attacks.
3. Preliminary investigation is ongoing while the suspects will be handed over to appropriate authority on completion.
4. Similarly, troops deployed in operation IDON RAINI while on patrol at Dansadau Maru Local Government Area of Zamfara State rescued a kidnapped victim and recovered four motorcycles at Abobo village from bandits.
5. The bandits abandoned their victim and the motorcycles on sighting the troops and fled into the bush.
6. Efforts are being intensified by the troops to get the fleeing bandits.
7. The public is reminded to always report any suspicious activities to the law enforcement agents for prompt action.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
