 Governor Fubara loses out again as the APC House of Reps. screening committee disqualifies three serving House of Reps members loyal to him from participating in tomorrow's primaries, while clearing all allies of FCT Minister Nyesom Wike, including Martin Amaewhule, the Speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly. Disqualified Governor Fubara loyalists include: 1. Hon. Anderson Alisson 2. Hon. Abiante Awaji Imombek 3. Hon. Boma Goodhead  Cleared Wike allies include: - Hon. Hart Cyril  - Hon. MAN WITH BULLET WOUND FOUND DEAD IN RELIEF MARKET NEAR ONITSHA,ANAMBRA STATE.{PHOTO}.

    A 21-year-old man with suspected bullet injury has been found dead at the Relief Market, Okpoko, near Onitsha, Anambra State.
The deceased, identified as Emmanuel Nwankwo, a resident of New Estate, Oba, was said to have been found by a member of the market’s vigilance group, Charles Ene, on Tuesday.
Ene reportedly alerted the police, who came to the scene and took the victim to a nearby hospital where he was confirmed dead.
The state Police Public Relations Officer, Haruna Mohammed, confirmed the incident.
He said, “Nwankwo was certified dead by a medical doctor at the General Hospital, Onitsha, where he was taken to by police detectives attached to Okpoko division, led by the Divisional Police Officer, Ibrahim Jauro.”
Mohammed said the corpse had been deposited in a morgue for autopsy.
The PPRO said preliminary investigation showed that Nwankwo was shot in the thigh, adding that expended ammunition was recovered from the scene.He said, “The Commissioner of Police, Mr Garba Umar, has ordered that the case be transferred to the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department for further investigation.”
