 A priest in Anambra State wedded a couple yesterday, despite disputes with the bride’s father In a video circulating online, the Reverend Father narrated that The father of the bride who is from Nteje had insisted that the wedding should not take place unless his daughter swøre never to associate with his mother whom he has a quarrel with. The conflict arose from past marriage issues between the father and her mother. Before the wedding, the father repeatedly met with the priest, warning that he had already taken the bride's mother to a deity and that the girl must follow him to the shrine to appease that deity before the marriage can go on. For peace to prevail, the priest advised the couple to comply with all the father’s requests so the wedding could proceed, the priest even donated some of the items that the brides father told her to bring to use in appeasing the deity.      It all started with a phone call to tell her dad that she had a new boyfriend. 
That was how Meghan Markle's dad found out that she was dating Prince Harry, but that they would have to call him "H" to keep the secret. Now his daughter is married, but her dad still has yet to meet her new husband, not because he wasn't invited to the wedding, but because he was in the hospital, but after this interview, rumor from inside the Royal family is that their relationship is "fractured" .In the interview with ITV's Good Morning Britain, we get a lot of the details from her father's point of view, and while the interview doesn't really cast any bad shadows on Meghan and Harry, but being that the Royals keep everything so private, they can't be happy about him sitting down with the talk show. Reports coming in are that he has been paid $10,000 for the chat. Thomas' controversial conversation spanned everything from him making Harry promise to never "raise his hand" to Meghan, to Harry's musing that Donald Trump should be given a chance—and is certainly NOT a good look.The Daily Mail's Rebecca English reports that Kensington Palace officials were "deliberately kept in the dark about yesterday's TV interview so there was no opportunity to dissuade Mr Markle from taking part." Meanwhile Thomas himself confirmed that he didn't tell Megan or Harry he was doing the sit-down, but said he hoped they'd "understand my feelings as well.".Well the Palace is yet to comment.More photos below.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive. We have approached Turkey for assistance.” The President, however, stated that the delays were affecting the public’s perception of the administration’s commitment to addressing the security challenges.
