Marilyn Manson's sexual assault case by former assistant reinstated under new California law A previously dismissed sexual assault case against Marilyn Manson, filed by former assistant Ashley Walters, was revived Monday in Los Angeles Superior Court under a new California law extending the statute of limitations for certain sexual abuse claims. Judge Steve Cochran granted Walters’ motion for reconsideration, vacating his December 2025 ruling that had dismissed the case and allowing it to proceed toward trial. The original suit, first filed in 2021, accused Manson, whose legal name is Brian Warner, of sexual harassment, sexual battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and wrongful termination based on her time working for him in 2010–2011. Previous attempts to move the case forward were blocked because the claims were made years after the alleged incidents, with courts initially ruling that the delayed discovery doctrine did not apply. OPERATION LAST HOLD: GOC ADVISES TROOPS ON RULES OF ENGAGEMENT.{PHOTOS}.#PRESS RELEASE.

     1. Troops deployed in operation LAST HOLD have been advised to keep to the rules of engagement while carrying out assigned task.
2. The Acting General Officer Commanding 7 Division, Brigadier General Abdulmalik Bulama Biu gave the advice on Saturday 2 June 2018 while addressing troops at Gemtillo, Maiduguri. He charged the troops to put in their best towards ending the Boko Haram Terrorists menace.
3. The Acting GOC said he was in the camp to motivate the troops and expressed delight with their state of morale.
4. He added that a lot has been achieved by troops of Operation LAFIYA DOLE on ground, urging them to maintain the momentum.
5. General Biu further advised the troops to shun any acts that would distract them from attaining their objective.
6. He was accompanied during the visit by some Principal Staff Officers of the Division.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive. We have approached Turkey for assistance.” The President, however, stated that the delays were affecting the public’s perception of the administration’s commitment to addressing the security challenges.
