 Fundraiser for Lindsay Clancy holdout juror flooded with donations after Michael P. Desronvil speaks out for first time A fundraiser for the lone holdout juror in Lindsay Clancy’s murder trial has been flooded with donations after he spoke out publicly for the first time to defend himself for holding his ground. Michael P. Desronvil, 48, explained Thursday that “based on all the physical evidence, key witnesses, and what the prosecution presented, I thought it was enough proof that she (Clancy) knew exactly what she was doing” when she fatally strangled her three young children with exercise bands. The high-profile trial ended in a mistrial after Desronvil refused to side with the 11 other jurors to find Clancy not guilty of murder by reason of insanity. OPERATION LAST HOLD: RETURNEES RECLAIM THEIR COMMUNITIES.#PRESS RELEASE.

       1. Sequel to the Operationalization of Operation LAST HOLD by the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Lieutenant General Tukur Yusufu Buratai, the returnees Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) have started clearing their farms, open water ways in the Lake Chad and clear roads to their communities.
2. This was observed as the Commander Operation LAST HOLD Maj Gen Abba Dikko, embarked on operational assessment visits to the Task Force Brigades on Operation LAST HOLD.
3. He appreciated the locals who turned up massively for the road clearance, water ways clearance and urged them to take initiative in reclaiming and reoccupation of their communities and farms.
4. He urged them to continue to support the troops deployed in their various communities and also reiterated the Chief of Army Staff directive especially, in regards to respect for human rights.
5. He assured them the Federal and State Governments commitment towards their well being and called on them to always provide timely information to the troops.
