FG FILES TREASON  CHARGE AGAINST ALLEGED COUP PLOTTERS The Federal  Government has filed a 13-count charge before the Federal High Court, Abuja against a retired Major General, a retired Naval Captain, a serving police inspector, and three others over an alleged coup plot and acts of terrorism. The alleged coup plotters, are scheduled to be arraigned on  April 22, before Justice Joyce Abdulmalik of the Federal High Court, Abuja. Those named in the charge are Major General Mohammed Ibrahim Gana, Captain Erasmus Ochegobia Victor,   Inspector Ahmed Ibrahim, Zekeri Umoru, Bukar Kashim Goni, and Abdulkadir Sani. Also listed as a defendant, but said to be at large, is former Bayelsa State Governor, Timipre Sylva.       This afternoon, The Prince of Wales, on behalf of The Queen, hosted the final of the 2018 Buckingham Palace Garden Parties.
His Royal Highness was accompanied by The Duchess of Cornwall, The Princess Royal, The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, The Duke of Kent and Prince and Princess Michael of Kent, who all met a number today's guests, who had been invited from across the community.Guests are nominated by a number of organisations including the Armed Forces, the emergency services and charities.
The Prince meets Karen Gibson of The Kingdom Choir, who performed at the wedding of The Duke and Duchess of Sussex as seen in the photo above.More photos below.
