 Setting the Records Straight on  Citizen Asar Michael Sesugh's  Death The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission,  EFCC,  considered it imperative to clear the air on some recent incidents at its Makurdi Zonal Directorate,  Benue State.   Operatives of the Directorate arrested 26 suspected cyber fraudsters on April 28,  2026.  They were profiled and kept in custody for further investigations after obtaining a Remand Order at a Magistrate Court.  Shortly after their arrest,  specifically on May 4,  2026,  three of the suspects sought permission to use the lavatory at the Directorate's  Holding Facility and were permitted.   They cashed in on the opportunity,  broke the toilet's roof and escaped from detention.  Several efforts were made to re- arrest them to no avail. ARMY NAB SUSPECTED ILLICIT DRUG PEDDLERS IN BAUCHI STATE.{PHOTOS}.#PRESS RELEASE.

   1. Troops of 33 Brigade deployed at the Forward Operation Base, Yuga in Toro Local Government Area of Bauchi state have arrested two suspected illicit drug peddlers during a raid operation at a suspected hoodlums hideout in Filin Kokuwa.
2. Items recovered include:
a. One polythene bag containing weeds suspected to be marijuana.
b. 85 wraps of substance suspected to be marijuana.
c. Some quantities of tramadol.
d. Six tubes of rubber solutions.
e. Five mobile handsets.
3. The suspects have been handed over to the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency for further action.
4. Members of the public are reminded to report any suspicious movements or activities to the nearest security agency for prompt action.
5. You are please requested to disseminate this information to the general public.
