 "The child was tied up and blindfolded."  (We are updating this story tomorrow with more information) A Springfield, Illinois couple face very serious charges after a witness came forward with shocking evidence of abuse and neglect. We Are thankful the witness came forward.  According to reports, the details of this heartbreaking case came to light on March 8th when Springfield PD was contacted by a female who witnessed a shocking scene at the home of 32-year-old Willie Wardlow and 40-year-old Ashley Wardlow. In addition to her important witness statement, the female witness also had photos and videos documenting the horrible conditions a small child in the home was forced to endure. The child is under 10 years old.  The photo and video appeared to show a young female victim who had been blindfolded and bound. CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF PAID AN OPERATIONAL VISIT TO 21 BRIGADE IN BAMA BORNO STATE YESTERDAY.{PHOTOS}.#PRESS RELEASE.

    1. The Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Lieutenant General Tukur Yusufu Buratai on Thursday, 19th July 2018 paid an operational visit to 21 Brigade in Bama Borno State where he designated the Brigade as Special Operations Brigade.
2. He commended the Brigade for their exploits in several clearance and offensive operations against Boko Haram terrorists.
3. He also assured the Brigade of adequate logistics support to aid their operations.
4. He was received on arrival by the Acting Commander 21 Brigade, Colonel AG Nura. He later visited the Gun Boat Company of Operation LAFIYA DOLE at Alau Dam.
5. The Chief of Army Staff was accompanied on the visit by the Theatre Commander Operation LAFIYA DOLE, Major General Rogers Nicholas, Principal Staff Officers from Army Headquarters and the Acting General Officer Commanding 7 Division, Brigadier General Bulama Biu.
