 Army sergeant’s wife deported to Honduras amid Trump administration’s immigration crackdown on military families The wife of an Army sergeant and mother of a 6-year-old was deported to Honduras Monday, as the Trump administration’s immigration crackdown increasingly affects spouses and parents of active-duty military personnel. Army Sgt. Hedar Leonel Turcios Juarez confirmed that his wife, Cristy Maryori Villafranca Trejo, had been deported. Immigration and Customs Enforcement detained Villafranca outside a Walmart in July while the couple’s young daughter was present, according to her husband. Villafranca had left Honduras in 2016 because of violence, he said. Turcios Juarez came to the United States from Honduras in 2014 for similar reasons. After attending high school in the U.S., he joined the Army and became a U.S. citizen in 2024 following a nine-month deployment to the Middle East.    A facebook user wrote this yesterday and he captioned all the pictures he shared  ''This is MGBEMENA STREET, AWADA, OBOSI, ANAMBRA STATE.
This street has been under construction for some months now by some people who I don't even know if they are into road construction. Don't even know the kind of materials they are using here, they will just leave a trip of sand and the rain with carry it away. We can't pass through here anymore, except through Nwaziki Street or Ezeiweka. I believe this was a project the government of Anambra State gave to some people, now they left it that way, risking the lives of people. Please share this until the government of Anambra State see it. It is getting out of hand''.More photos below.
