A Tennessee woman had to have her leg amputated after being attacked by her own dog. This terrifying incident occurred in the Murfreesboro, Tennessee home of 42-year-old Amanda Mears.  On the evening of December 10th, Amanda was preparing to take her dog, a Pit Bull/ American Staffordshire mix, named "Dennis" out for a walk.  As the two were making their way to the door, Amanda's other dog Ralphie, an American Bully, escaped from the room she was keeping him in.  In the blink of an eye, a vicious dog fight erupted.      After being denied usage of the Abuja Eagle Square, former Kano State Governor, Rabiu Kwankwaso, has announced a new venue for his formal presidential declaration.
Kwankwaso’s spokesperson, Binta Sipikin, said the ceremony will now hold at Chida Hotel in Utako, Abuja.
The People's Democratic Party (PDP) presidential aspirant was denied use of the Eagle Square a public open facility used for such gathering.
Authorities maintaining the facility had, after initially granting him access, denied him usage of the venue; a move believed to be to checkmate the former Kano governor.
In a letter signed by Usman Raji, the facility manager of the Abuja International Conference Centre & Eagles Square, the government said the decision to deny him the Eagle Square was to avoid disruption of “work flow” at the federal secretariat, the work place of hundreds of federal civil servants.
Musa Kwankwaso, who recently defected from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) to the PDP had announced Wednesday as the day for the event.
