 LAWMA Waste, Investigation, Surveillance and Enforcement operatives on night duty have apprehended two environmental offenders along the Jibowu and Ojota corridors of Ikorodu Road for engaging in illegal waste collection and indiscriminate disposal of refuse at unauthorized locations. The suspects, were arrested during routine surveillance operations after being found carrying out activities that constitute environmental nuisance and undermine approved waste management processes, despite repeated warnings and sensitization efforts. The offenders are being transferred to the Oshodi Task Force Office for prosecution through the Mobile Court in accordance with the environmental protection laws of Lagos State. LAWMA reiterates that illegal waste collection and indiscriminate dumping remain punishable offences. ARMY NEUTRALIZES BOKO HARAM TERRORISTS, RECOVER WEAPONS IN BORNO STATE.{PHOTOS}.#PRESS RELEASE.

     1. Troops of 151 Battalion deployed in Operation LAFIYA DOLE, has successfully neutralized three members of the Boko Haram Terrorists (BHTs) in the early hours of Wednesday, during an ambush along Banki Junction- Mayanti village in Bama Local Government Area of Borno State.
2. Items recovered include
a. Three AK 47 rifle.
b. 3 Magazines.
c. 32 rounds of 7.62mm special ammunition.
d. One motorcycle.
e. Two Android phones.
3. Efforts are on by the troops to get the other fleeing members of the Boko Haram terrorists.
