 Russia launches massive drone and missile barrage on Ukraine, killing at least 18 civilians and striking Kyiv and multiple cities  Russia carried out a large-scale overnight assault on Ukraine, launching hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles that killed at least 18 civilians and wounded more than 100 others across multiple cities, officials said Tuesday. The strikes hit Kyiv, Dnipro and other regions, with emergency crews working through destroyed residential buildings where some victims were trapped under rubble. In Dnipro, rescuers recovered the bodies of a 3-year-old child and a mother and her 8-year-old son, while officials reported 12 deaths in the city and six in Kyiv. The bombardment stretched from night into daylight, with explosions reported across wide areas of the country. C.I.C ALUMNI BUILT A 540 BED HOSTEL FOR THEIR SCHOOL IN ENUGU.{PHOTOS}.

      The power of alumni fully in display as alumni of College of Immaculate Conception (C.I.C) Enugu build a 540 bed hostel for the school.
The hostel complex which is fitted with modern facilities and can comfortably accommodate 540 students was commissioned today, Friday, August 3, 2018 as part of their ongoing 2018 global convention.
In his remarks, the Principal of the school, Reverend Father Hilary Mgbodile thanked the alumni for their kind gesture and said that they have continued to make C.I.C Enugu the pride of secondary schools in Enugu state and beyond.Speaking at the ceremony, Nze Uche Nworah, Managing Director and CEO of Anambra Broadcasting Service (ABS), an alumnus of the school said that the project wouldn't have been possible without the commitment of the alumni. He said that it was their own way of investing in the future of the students and hoped that they will keep the hostel facilities in good condition.One more photo below.
