The Corps` attention has once again been drawn to the fraudulent practice by some dubious individuals who are bent on using the photos of the Corps Marshal of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Boboye Oyeyemi to open purported Facebook accounts with intent to defraud unsuspecting members of the public.
Mindful of the vulnerability of some people who might fall into the hands of these criminally minded people, the Corps has severally, issued a disclaimer to warn members of the public to be wary of such clandestine plans. We are therefore, worried, that some people are still allowing themselves to be deceived by entering into any form of transaction deceptively put forward by such evil-minded people, including birthday posts requesting for gifts in the name of the Corps Marshal who has not been on any social media platform for the past six years.
Accordingly, we are once again warning members of the public not to take such photos of Corps Marshal Oyeyemi or information on FRSC's official activities as being circulated for the purposes of illegal deals as genuine and well intentioned. Rather, they are fake, illegal and dubious acts, which all well-meaning individuals must avoid falling into, while efforts are being made by relevant agencies to track the perpetrators.
Consequently, we once again call on all our friends, members of the public and most especially applicants who applied for the 2018 Recruitment Exercise to disregard any information being released in the name of the Corps Marshal, Boboye Oyeyemi (or any of the under listed Facebook Account URLs) for any form of transaction. For further information on FRSC`s activities, please like our Facebook page, follow our Twitter Handle and Instagram Page using @FRSCNigeria. You can also visit our website: www.frsc.gov.ng.
