LAGOS AIRLIFTS CHRISTIAN PILGRIMS TO JERUSALEM.{PHOTOS}.

Lagos State Government has airlifted intending Christian pilgrims to the holy land of Jerusalem for the 2018 Holy Pilgrimage.
The pilgrims, who departed from the Murtala Mohammed International Airport on Sunday, are expected to perform the necessary spiritual exercise within ten days and return to the State on Tuesday, 7th of August, 2018.
The Board Secretary of the Lagos State Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board, Mrs. Florence Yetunde Gbafe addressed the intending pilgrims at the Chapel of Christ The Light, Alausa, Ikeja before their departure and expressed the hope that the ten-day spiritual exercise would renew their faith and increase trust in God.
She said “My expectation from the participants during this pilgrimage journey is faith renewal. I want to presume that those going for the journey are mentally and spiritually prepared with the hope that they would be filled with lots of abundant spiritual blessings on their return”.
She stated that the pilgrims would have the privilege of visiting places like Sea of Galilee, Mountain of Ascension, River Jordan, Canaan, and Mountain of Temptation among several other places that would ignite their connection with God.
Gbafe advised the pilgrims to use the opportunity of all biblical teachings and spiritual sites that would be visited to seek God’s face, adding that Pilgrims should pray earnestly for spiritual connection and blessings attached to the various sites, with references to what they represented in the scripture. While calling on the pilgrims to comport themselves in a manner that reflects the image of their religion, the State as well as the country at large, she prayed for a memorable pilgrimage experience for the intending pilgrims, journey mercies to the Holy Land and safe return to the State.More photos below.
