 UNACCEPTABLE – GOV. ALIA BLASTS MBALOM KILLINGS, ASSURES JUSTICE FOR VICTIMS  Governor Hyacinth Alia of Benue State has condemned the latest attack on Mbalom community in Gwer East Local Government Area, describing it as barbaric and unacceptable, while assuring residents of intensified efforts to protect lives and property. In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Tersoo Kula, the governor reacted to reports of an assault by suspected armed herdsmen on the community, an incident that adds to recurring security concerns in parts of the state. Alia said the attack represents a direct threat to the peace and security of Benue, noting a disturbing pattern of what he described as calculated and selective assaults. He expressed sympathy to affected families and reiterated his administration’s resolve to confront criminal elements.     Internet fraudsters are still on the prowl, extorting money from despirate job seekers. Despite so many irregularities in the above so called' appiontment letter'' some people failed and may still fall to the cheap trap. Ordinarily, looking at the fraudulent letter, it should be easy to suspect it's intention. If not how will CUSTOMS be spelt CUSTOM, official letter head bearing Federal Government before the Service name? Asking recruits to pay for training kits? Habaa. 
Again, of all platforms, Nigeria Customs Service will choose Facebook or whatsApp to conduct recruitment exercise? certainly not true. Please note that Nigeria Customs Service is presently not recruiting, and when we are ready, the public will be notified through Television, Radio and Newspapers.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
