 GOVERNOR ABBA  YUSUF SACKS  KANO STATE HEAD OF SERVICE   The Executive Governor of Kano State, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has relieved the State Head of Service, Abdullahi Musa, of his appointment with immediate effect. In a statement  by the Director General, Media and Publicity to the Governor, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, the decision is part of the ongoing efforts by the present administration to reposition the state civil service for greater efficiency, discipline, and improved service delivery across all government institutions. Governor Yusuf expressed appreciation to the outgoing Head of Service for his contributions and dedication to the service of the State  The statement further directed that Bilkisu Shehu Maimota, the Permanent Secretary, Admin and General Services at the Cabinet Office, to serve in an  acting capacity pending the appointment of a substantive Head of Service.      Nigerian soldier Capt Felix Emeka George aka Okadigbo from Owere-Nimbo,Enugu state killed by Boko Haram has been buried in Maiduguri.
He fearlessly served Nigeria through NDA and rose by merit to the rank of a Captain in Nigerian Army.He was recalled back on May, 2018 barely a year after he left Borno, having served 5 years, continuously (on no leave no transfer)  to Borno war front.Felix died young leaving 4 children and a pregnant wife behind.One more photo below.
