Marilyn Manson's sexual assault case by former assistant reinstated under new California law A previously dismissed sexual assault case against Marilyn Manson, filed by former assistant Ashley Walters, was revived Monday in Los Angeles Superior Court under a new California law extending the statute of limitations for certain sexual abuse claims. Judge Steve Cochran granted Walters’ motion for reconsideration, vacating his December 2025 ruling that had dismissed the case and allowing it to proceed toward trial. The original suit, first filed in 2021, accused Manson, whose legal name is Brian Warner, of sexual harassment, sexual battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and wrongful termination based on her time working for him in 2010–2011. Previous attempts to move the case forward were blocked because the claims were made years after the alleged incidents, with courts initially ruling that the delayed discovery doctrine did not apply.      The Duke and Duchess of Sussex attended a gala performance in Hamilton support of Sentebale at the Victoria Palace Theatre. The evening raised awareness and funds for Sentebale's work with children and young people affected by HIV in southern Africa.
The Duke and Duchess met representatives from Sentebale and Hamilton, including members of the cast and crew. At the conclusion of the show both The Duke of Sussex and Lin-Manuel Miranda, who wrote the show's book, music, and lyrics, addressed the audience.The Duke of Sussex founded Sentebale with Prince Seeiso of Lesotho in 2006 – the charity's programmes of education and care provide the tools and knowledge for young people affected by HIV in Lesotho and Botswana to live long, happy, healthy lives.More photos below.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
