 Russia launches massive drone and missile barrage on Ukraine, killing at least 18 civilians and striking Kyiv and multiple cities  Russia carried out a large-scale overnight assault on Ukraine, launching hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles that killed at least 18 civilians and wounded more than 100 others across multiple cities, officials said Tuesday. The strikes hit Kyiv, Dnipro and other regions, with emergency crews working through destroyed residential buildings where some victims were trapped under rubble. In Dnipro, rescuers recovered the bodies of a 3-year-old child and a mother and her 8-year-old son, while officials reported 12 deaths in the city and six in Kyiv. The bombardment stretched from night into daylight, with explosions reported across wide areas of the country.    According to newsmen angry youths of Isiala Ngwa in Abia state have blocked all roads following the death of an Okada rider in the Area yesterday.Sources gathered that the Okada rider was killed by a navy man over misunderstanding on Monday morning.
Eye witnesses informed newsmen that the Okada rider fell and died on the spot after he was allegedly hit by the Naval officer.After the death of the man, the security operative was nowhere to be found which made the youths to start setting things ablaze demanding for the soldier who hit the Okada rider to be provided.As at the time of writing this report, the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Senator Chikwendu Kalu was seen trying to calm the youths down in order to maintain peace.More photos below.
