 Dortmund knock out PSG, zoom into Champions League final Borussia Dortmund zoomed into champions league final on Tuesday after beating Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) 1-0 in Paris, France in the second leg of their semi-final clash. The first leg in Germany ended 1-0 in favour of the Germans. Dortmund qualified for the final on 2-0 aggregate. After a goalless first half, Dortmund took the lead in France in the 50th minute. Mats Hummels jumped highest inside the box to meet a perfectly executed corner kick by Julian Brandt. His header was precise and ended up inside the right post, leaving the goalkeeper flapping in the wind. Earlier in the 35th minute, Karim Adeyemi wove through the defence with ease and got one-on-one with the keeper, but failed to score with his strike towards the bottom right corner as Gianluigi Donnarumma produced a good save.     Three months after the death of Raskimono,his wife Efemena Okedi passed away in the early hours of today sunday.According to a close source to her family who said ''She wasn't sick,infact she attended a friend's birthday bash yesterday at Elegushi Beach on the Island,she came back sometime past ten last night.She was rushed to County Hospital Ogba,around 3-4 am this morning,where she was confirmed dead''.May her soul rest in peace,Amen.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
