 MODEL COLLEGES/UPGRADED JUNIOR SECONDARY SCHOOLS COMMENCE E-REGISTRATION FOR YEAR 2025 ENTRANCE EXAMINATION The Lagos State Government has commenced Year 2025 e-Registraton Entrance Examination (Screening Test) for primary 6 pupils transiting to junior secondary schools into its Model Colleges and Upgraded Junior Secondary Schools.  The Director, Lagos State Examinations Board, Mr. Adebayo Orunsolu confirmed that the e-Registration will commence on Thursday 6th February and ends on Friday, 16th May, 2025, adding that the Screening will be conducted through Computer Based Test (CBT) only between Wednesday, 28th May and Friday, 30th May, 2025, at the various CBT designated centres across the State. Mr. Orunsolu stressed that qualified pupils from public and private Schools are to pay a sum of #10,000 (Ten Thousand Naira Only) for the Application.      Wednesday night,the 12th of September 2018,Rihanna was the closing designer for New York Fashion week.Rihanna debuted her Fall/Winter 18 Savage XFenty lingerie collection at the Brooklyn Navy Yard.Fans quickly noted how inclusive the model lineup was,asthere was a vast range of body shapes and sizes,including two beautiful expecting mothers,Fenty muse Slick Woods and Janina Thompson.One of the expectant mother Slick Woods went into labour backstage and was taken to a local hospital after the show,and today she confirmed she gave birth to a boy.She wrote on Instagram ''A king is born '' after 14-hours labour.The Hadid sisters {Bella and Gigi} were also part of the models that rocked the runway for Rihanna.Congratulations to Rihanna.More photos below from the fashion show.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up. The Appellant is an actor. He acted in a script that he was invited to act by his colleague (PW1), Damilola Adekoya,” he said.
