 Nigerian man takes up the challenge to be bur!ed alive for 24hours A Nigerian man who identifies as Young C has embarked on a challenge to be buried alive in a coffin for 24 hours.  He made this known in a series of posts on his Instagram page on Wednesday,  stating that the stunt was genuine and not a hoax.  He announced his intention to broadcast live footage from the coffin at night. Sharing a video on his Instagram account on Wednesday, he said, "I am going to be spending the next 24 hours buried in this casket. Guys, this is real, not fake.  "And the most amazing part is that I am going to go live by night." In a subsequent update, Young C revealed that he had been buried for over 8 hours and was experiencing physical discomfort, including excessive sweating. Plateau state Governor  Simon Lalong  on  Monday approved the payment of the outstanding withheld salaries under the "No work, no pay" inflicted by the former administration.
A statement from Yakubu Dati
,the Commissioner of Information and Communication of the state reads that "Already, the government has commenced with the payment of two months out of the balance of three months through the Local Government Service Commission."
"Governor Lalong had, on assumption of office, promised to defray the backlog of withheld salaries of Local Government staff and primary school Teachers affected."
"The Rescue administration remains committed to the it's Five-point policy thrust of prioritising the welfare of the citizenry."Meanwhile, the committee on "No work, No pay" will entertain all genuine complaints arising from the exercise on  Wednesday, 24th October, 2018 at Conference hall of the Office of the Head of Service, J D Gomwalk Secretariat Jos."

Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
