 PRESS RELEASE MINISTER OF INFORMATION LEADS HEADS OF AGENCIES TO BROADCASTERS CONFERENCE IN LAS VEGAS In an effort to strengthen broadcast collaborations and form strategic alliances, Minister of Information and National Orientation Mohammed Idris fnipr, has led a delegation of heads of government agencies to the 2025 National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) Conference and Workshop in Las Vegas, USA. The NAB event, running from April 5 to 9, carries the theme “The Technology, The Trend, The Future” and will cover a range of topics, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), cloud visualization, the creator economy, and sports production and streaming. KWSG ORGANISES SERVICE OF SONGS TODAY FOR HON. ADEDOYIN WHO PAST AWAY LAST MONTH OF CANCER.{PHOTO}.

      The Kwara State Government is organizing a Service of Songs as part of the funeral rights for late Hon. Olufunke Deborah Adedoyin, the member representing Irepodun, Ekiti and Oke-Ero Constituency at the House of Representatives who died on September, 28th 2018.
According to the Head of Service of Kwara State, Mrs. Susan Oyewole, who heads the state committee for the funeral, the Service of Songs takes place on Tuesday, 9th October, 2018 at the State Banquet Hall, Ahmadu Bello Way, ilorin at 4pm.

The Service of Songs, according Mrs Oluwole, will be attended by the State Governor, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed, members of the state executive council, family, friends and political associates of the late member of lower chamber of the National Assembly.
The Head of Service emphasized that late Hon. Olufunke Adedoyin was not only a major stakeholder in the state but also positively touched the lives of many across the state and therefore deserves to be honored by the state government and indeed all citizens and residents of the state.Mrs Oluwole said the Service of Songs is one several activities lined up for Hon. Adedoyin’s funeral, stressing that information on the other events line up will be provided by family of the deceased.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
