 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots. MAJ GEN IM ALKALI'S DEAD BODY,FOUND IN A WELL AND OTHER ITEMS RECOVERED.{PHOTOS}.

      Update on Search and Rescue Operations for missing Maj Gen IM Alkali (rtd). In continuation with the search and rescue of Maj Gen IM Alkali (rtd) At about 0715hrs today 31 Oct 2018, a team made up of personnel of Nigerian Army Intelligence Corps, MIlitary Police, Public Relations, Nigeria Police Force, Fire Service rescue team as well as members of other security agencies set out to a suspected well where the exhumed body was allegedly dumped on the night of 29 Sep 2018 following the recovery of his car from the pond.
The Team was joined by Troops from 3 Div Garrison and Nigerian Army Engineers to drain the well.The well was drained revealing the decomposed body parts of the Senior Officer. Further search led to recovery of other items including the shirt the senior officer wore on the day of his disappearance. More details later.More photos below.
