  Tragedy Strikes As Promising Councillor Hon. Chukwuma Okpalauzuegbu Is Laid To Rest On Intended wedding Day  By Charity Ejiofor  A day that was meant to mark a joyful union has instead become one of deep sorrow for family, friends, and the Aguata community, following the sudden passing of Hon. Chukwuma Christopher Okpalauzuegbu, the councillor representating Amesi Ward. Hon. Okpalauzuegbu fondly known as Chuma, had been preparing to celebrate his wedding ceremony, an event filled with hope, promise and carefully laid plans. Loved ones, and sponsors, ready to stand beside him as he embark on a new chapter of life. In an unexpected and heart breaking turn of events, those dreams were cut short.       Former Governor of Anambra state Peter Obi was today picked as Atiku Abubakar's deputy,ahead of the 2019 Presidential election.Obi emerged the preferred choice of both the party and the candidate after series of consultations by stakeholders in the party and outside it. It was gathered that Obi’s name and that of Atiku will be sent to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) next week.
