 Nigeria's Defence Minister Summons Service Chiefs Amid Surge in Attacks on Military Bases Nigeria's Minister of Defence, General Christopher Musa (Rtd), has urgently summoned the nation's top military leaders to a high-level meeting at the Ministry of Defence headquarters in Abuja. The session addresses the escalating attacks targeting military installations, particularly in the North East region. The meeting includes key figures such as: - Chief of Defence Staff, General Olufemi Oluyede - Chief of Army Staff, Lt.-Gen. Waidi Shaibu - Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Sunday Aneke - Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Idi Abass - Representatives from the National Intelligence Agency (NIA) The summons comes in response to recent deadly assaults by terrorists on military bases in the North East. A SECTION OF OKO POLY CAUGHT FIRE THIS MORNING.{PHOTOS}.

     According to a facebook user Ken Chukwudi,who post all this photos today with the caption ''The fire which started in the early hours of this morning, gutted a part of the school admission office (Exams and Record building) and may spreading to the Mass Communication complex including other adjoining office space and building.
The cause of the inferno could not be ascertained, as it disrupted the night class of students who are preparing for their exams through Paper and Pen Test, some students struggled to put the fire out with little success as it raged fiercely destroying vehicles parked close-by.
Side talks from students, attributes the fire to be the hand work of aggrieved students, for the change of exam mode from Computer Based Test to Paper and Pen test, which they noted will increase sorting and sexual harassment by the lecturers for mark, as the CBT mode put such instances to a level of check.
Fire Service are yet to arrive as at the time of writing this post.
