 NUT Protest : Wike Warns Against Politicising Insecurity The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has warned against politicising insecurity amid protests by the Nigeria Union of Teachers, FCT wing, over the killing and abduction of school staff and children in Oyo State. Teachers stormed the FCTA Secretariat in Abuja to condemn the killing of Michael Oyedokun and to demand the release of abducted pupils and teachers from Community High School, Ahoro-Esinle in Oriire Local Government Area. The FCT minister addressed the protesters on Tuesday, saying the federal government is on its toes working to secure the rescue of the schoolchildren and their teachers. Wike urged protesters to avoid turning the tragedy into a political issue and to give security efforts time to produce results. A SECTION OF OKO POLY CAUGHT FIRE THIS MORNING.{PHOTOS}.

     According to a facebook user Ken Chukwudi,who post all this photos today with the caption ''The fire which started in the early hours of this morning, gutted a part of the school admission office (Exams and Record building) and may spreading to the Mass Communication complex including other adjoining office space and building.
The cause of the inferno could not be ascertained, as it disrupted the night class of students who are preparing for their exams through Paper and Pen Test, some students struggled to put the fire out with little success as it raged fiercely destroying vehicles parked close-by.
Side talks from students, attributes the fire to be the hand work of aggrieved students, for the change of exam mode from Computer Based Test to Paper and Pen test, which they noted will increase sorting and sexual harassment by the lecturers for mark, as the CBT mode put such instances to a level of check.
Fire Service are yet to arrive as at the time of writing this post.
