 African Airlines record 5.7% decreased demand for air cargo in February — IATA African airlines recorded a 5.7% year-on-year decline in air cargo demand in February 2025, with capacity decreasing by 0.6% in the same period. Capacity, measured in available cargo tonne-kilometers (ACTK), dropped by 0.4%, although international operations saw a 1.1% increase. The International Air Transport Association (IATA) report showed that global capacity decreased by 0.4%, with international operations showing a slight increase of 0.4% in demand. Globally, air cargo demand fell by 0.1% compared to February 2024, marking the first decline since mid-2023. “African airlines saw a 5.7% year-on-year decrease in demand for air cargo in February. Capacity decreased by 0.6% year-on-year,” the report read in part.      On Sunday,Classic Magazine held their awards on Sunday the 25th of November,2018 at the Lagos Airport hotel,tagged ''Restructuring: Road-map to political stability and economic prosperity in Nigeria''.This event was attended by celebrities from abroad and Nigeria. Iyabo Ojo and Prince Ifeanyi Dike hosted the event and later Comedian Danny B took over.When the CMC Gladiators entertainment group was called out to receive their award,the stage almost broke down because the timber and calibres in that group can change the face of entertainment for good .CMC group was named the best group,and I agree with the decision because Cornell Udofia who is the founder of the group his one of best when it comes to packaging and managing artist.More photos below.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
