 STATE HOUSE PRESS RELEASE  PRESIDENT TINUBU APPOINTS MINISTER OF STATE FOR PETROLEUM RESOURCES (GAS) AS CO-CHAIRMAN OF NCDMB GOVERNING COUNCIL In line with his avowed commitment to establish a more efficient, targeted, and consistent approval process for unique oil and gas projects in the country, President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of Mr. Ekperikpe Ekpo, Minister of State for Petroleum Resources (Gas), as the Co-Chairman of the Governing Council of the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB). This is also to further ensure effective oversight of the gas aspect of the nation's assets. The President remains committed to unlocking Nigeria's immense gas potential to stimulate industrial development, job creation, and sustainable economic growth. EFCC RELOCATES DATA CENTRE,INTER AGENCY TASK FORCE,TO JABI.#PRESS RELEASE.

     Following the outbreak of fire on Monday evening at the Wuse 2 Zonal office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, the Data Centre and the office of the Combined Inter Agency Task Force which were housed by the affected two Storey Costa Hall have been relocated to the Commission’s Jabi new Headquarters.
The value of the damaged items, mostly ICT consumables, is in a few millions. However, a detailed analysis is being awaited.
It would be recalled that men of the Federal Fire Service, FFS, Wuse Zonal office today, Monday, 19th November, 2018 successfully subdued the inferno that almost razed down the building.
The fire fighters led by the Sector Commander, Melone Onyekachi, arrived the Wuse 2 office of the Commission when the Service was alerted of the Fire by the Incident Duty Officer of the Commission, Kayode Oyetunde at 1910 hours. The fire started at the former newsroom which now serves as storage for ICT equipments/consumables that were retrieved from the Commission’s former offices scattered across the Capital City.

Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
