 LASG REAFFIRMS COMMITMENT TO END TUBERCULOSIS IN COMMUNITIES IN LAGOS STATE The Lagos State Government on Tuesday reaffirmed its commitment to completely eradicate Tuberculosis (TB) at the grassroots level across the metropolis.  The Permanent Secretary, Lagos State Health District III, Dr. Monsurat Adeleke made this known during a courtesy visit by the Institute of Human Virology, Nigeria team to her Ikoyi office, emphasising the present administration's commitment to continually prioritise health security across the state. She said the Lagos State First Lady, Dr. (Mrs.) Claudiana Sanwo-Olu, is a Tuberculosis (TB) champion with the mandate of ending TB now and the continuous expansion of TB scale-up diagnostic centres.  According to her, “The First Lady of Lagos State, Dr. (Mrs.) Claudiana Sanwo-Olu is a TB champion. ARMY NEUTRALISED 6 BANDITS IN DUMBURUM FOREST YESTERDAY.{PHOTOS}.#PRESS RELEASE.

        In continuation with offensive operations aimed at decimating armed bandits operating 
within Zamfara and Sokoto States, Troops of Sector 2 Operation SHARAN DAJI/Operation 777 under 8 Division Nigerian Army in conjunction with some members of Civilian Joint Task Force embarked on clearance operations in Dumburum Forests on 13 December 2018.
At the end of the Operation, 6 bandits were neutralised while 2 AK 47 Rifles, 2 magazines containing 48 rounds of ammunition and 2 motorcycles were recovered.More photos below.
