 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary.      Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike has described the passage of the First Democratically Elected President of Nigeria, Alhaji Shehu Shagari as a sad loss to the entire country.
In a condolence message on Friday Night, Governor Wike commiserated with the government and people of Sokoto State over the death of the eminent statesman.
Governor Wike stated that the Former President died at a time the entire nation would have benefited from his guidance during an important election circle.
He said that Late Former President Shehu Shagari would be remembered for his patriotic contributions to the development of the country.
While praying for the repose of the soul of Late Former President Shehu Shagari, Governor Wike also prayed God to grant the immediate family the strength to bear this great loss.
